Reading Partners
Reading Partners has been created to promote reading, increase learning and to have lots and lots of fun with books.
It's a fact that if your pupils enjoy reading then they will become a better reader. We believe books are the most wonderful and amazing learning tool.
But what about the Internet I hear you say, yes we have the Internet with all the fantastic information it holds but books are personal to the reader and give a whole host of tools to the child not just information.
Reading Partners links young readers with responsible and enthusiastic reading mentors who will support and encourage them to be better readers.
Becoming a better reader isn't just about the words. The pupil will start to enjoy reading and because of the structure of the programme they will start to understand the benefits reading can bring.
